How does Payment Work?

Insurances Accepted

Unrooted Counseling is in network with many major insurance companies, including:

  • Optum umbrella (Medica, UMR, UHC)

  • BCBS

  • Health Partners

  • Cigna/Evernorth

  • MHCP

  • Aetna/FirstHealth

  • UCare

Every plan is different; it is a client’s responsibility to check their specific plan to determine benefits (including deductible, coinsurance, or copay) & any service limitations they may have prior to the initial appointment.

Private Pay

You have the option to opt in to private pay. Each provider sets their own rates, which can be viewed on their ‘about me’ page under ‘The Unrooted Team’.

Regardless of the utilization of insurance or private pay, all payment is due at the time of invoice reciept.
