About Kate.

Hi there! My name is Kate, and I’m here to help you learn about yourself. I view therapy as an exploratory process where we build insight into how past experiences are impacting us in the present. As we learn to understand the variables at play in your life, I hope to bring empathy to all the different parts of you, even the “not so great” parts

My own mental health journey has taught me the importance of the relationship with oneself. A strong sense of self can help us feel more confident in navigating life’s inevitable stressors. When everything feels like it’s going to shit, being able to rely on yourself to know what you need can make a big difference. So whether you’re suffering from anxiety or depression, struggling with change, or simply need a safe place to talk it out, I’m happy to be along for the ride.

I see clients in person in Minneapolis, and I offer telehealth sessions for clients in Minnesota and Illinois. I practice therapy with a trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming lens; I believe in the importance of understanding your story and starting wherever you are. I also aim to foster compassion for all the messy parts of being human. By being gentle with ourselves, we can also get more comfortable with the not so fun emotions we experience and hold ourselves accountable when we want to do better.
